Actress Udita Goswami, who is dating director Mohit Suri, has denied reports that they are planning marriage after the release of Suri's latest film Crook starring Emraan Hashmi.
The young director was reportedly quoted as saying that he intended to pop the question to Udita after the success of the film but the actress says they have no such plan.
"It was really silly for something like this to come out. I am not getting married in near future," says Udita
The 26-year-old star says she even asked Suri whether he had made any such announcement and he denied it.
"He (Suri) was asked if there was something happening between him and Udita. What could he have possibly replied? The world knows that we have been together for so many years now. All he did was smile," says Udita.
"Next day morning, he woke up to the news that he would marry me once Crook becomes a hit."Udita's last few films may not have done well at the box office but the actress says settling down is not an option.
"I have my professional career sorted out for at least a couple of years from now. I wish Mohit and his team all the best for Crook but the film's success won't quite have a bearing on our relationship," said Udita.
The actress started her Bollywood journey with Paap in 2003 opposite John Abraham and went on to star in films like Zeher, Aksar and Helloo India.
