One fascinating thing about Delhi that no other city has?
Shantanu: The ultra-luxury concept of big bungalows and farm houses.
Nikhil: Keeping the dormant remains of art and culture alive, the city is constantly changing with modernisation.
One eatery in Delhi that is not much known about, but you love going over there.
Shantanu: Billa’s chole bhature shop in North Campus.
Nikhil: Bengal Sweet shop in Chittaranjan Park for authentic Bengali sweets.
Do you visit the Walled City - Chandini Chowk?
Shantanu: I visit Chandni Chowk mostly for its authentic range of old Delhi type of cuisine. Also one cannot miss the Ramlilla procession during Dussehra days.
Nikhil: I head to Paranthe Wali Gali in Chandni Chowkto eat desi ghee jalebis.
Which is your favourite Delhi food and where do you love eating it?
Shantanu: I love going to Moti Mahal (Tel: 26118698), Malcha Marg for butter chicken.
Nikhil: Smoke House Deli (Tel: 46075646) for its superb Sunday afternoon North American brunch.
Where do you generally get raw materials for the outfits you design?
Shantanu and Nikhil: The great walled city.
Your favourite street food ?
Shantanu: Ali’s Egg kathi Kababs (Tel: 26492859) in Panchsheel.
Nikhil: Chaat and golgappas at Bengali market.
Which college did you go to and where did you hang out?
Shantanu: Hans Raj College, North Campus. Hung out mostly in canteens.
Nikhil: Pearl Academy of fashion. Not the campus kind of hangout place, but the talent I got from there helps me now.
What are the fashion trends this season for college students?
Shantanu: Strong influence of comic superstars on tees.
Nikhil: Check shorts in cotton enzyme washes.
One fashion faux pas Delhiites always make ?
Shantanu: Unnecessary layering through too much mix and match.
Nikhil: Embellished jeans.
Accessories you feel Delhites should explore ?
Shantanu: Messenger caps.
Nikhil: Sling bags.
