Hollywood star Sandra Bullock's estranged husband Jesse James said his actress wife suspected that he was cheating on her, but he always talked his way out of it.
Bullock, 45, filed for divorce after news broke that James, her husband of five-years had multiple affairs. The scandal broke just days after the actress won her first Oscar for her portrayal of an adoptive parent in The Blind Side.
James, who is thought to have been unfaithful with at least four women, made the revelation during a tell-all interview on US TV show Nightline.
"I told her basically everything, that I had affairs outside of our marriage. I think she's had her suspicions in the past, but, you know. I lied, and lied my way out of it. I lied to everyone about everything, even to myself," he said.
The 41-year-old celebrity biker also said he knew he would eventually get caught.
"When I was doing it, you know, one, I knew it was horrible, it made me feel horrible. And two, I knew I would get caught eventually, and I think I wanted to get caught."
James also spoke about Bullock's recent adoption of baby boy Louis Bardo, saying he was devastated when Bullock told him she wanted to adopt Louis as "a single parent".
James said that Bullock in the role of mother is one of the "most amazing things' he's ever seen.
"She's like a fish to water. As soon as she put that baby in her hands, it was automatic and amazing."
James also spoke about the photographs recently unearthed which showed him posing in a Nazi salute.
"Dealing with losing my marriage, my son and embarrassing everyone and decimating my life, but to be called a racist on top of that is, it makes me really sad. It's not funny."
