Illayaraja, son Yuvan to share stage, perform together

Southern cinema's most promising composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and his illustrious father and music maestro Illayaraja are all set to perform together. The duo will come together and perform live in Tirunelveli on January 17, 2015 on the occasion of Pongal. Given them company will be a host of other playback singers.

"Yuvan Shankar Raja, the little maestro is all set to woo his audience this Pongal with a musical concert. The concert is named as Yuvan Musical Express. Having performed in Malaysia, Singapore and Chennai earlier, this time its Nellai people to rejoice his music," read a statement.

An excited Yuvan said: "It was my wish to perform in down south of Tamil Nadu, and I chose Tirunelveli because my debut film Aravindan was shot in Nellai as its background."

Popular singers such as Karthik, Ranjith, Vijay Yesudas, Haricharan, Vasu, Sathyan, Senthildass, Belli Raj, Shweta Pandit, Priya Himesh, Priyadarshini and NSK Ramya among many others will also perform at the concert.
