Guy Ritchie has allegedly put up a new security system at his country residence that has invited speculation from the locals claiming that the change is being done to keep Madonna away.
Workers were reportedly seen to be updating his security system at the 10 million pound Ashcombe House in Wiltshire – entitled to Guy as a part of their divorce settlement.
The locals humoured the incident saying there was no way Madonna would be able to get to the Brit director.
“It is one of the most high-tech systems you can find,” the Daily Star quoted a local as saying.
“Madonna is going to find it very hard to breach its defences if Guy takes the house officially,” the local added.
The celebrity couple’s neighbours were apparently sad on hearing their split praising the couple that had done much for the local community.
A local councillor said: ‘First Madonna built an indoor riding school so she could learn how to ride a horse and then she let local people use the school as well.
“They also did a fantastic job with a bridle path.
“They planted wild flowers on both sides of the path, making the place really come alive during spring and summer.”
