If buzz is to be believed, Salman Khan is on an overdrive to patch up with lost friends.

Kangna Ranaut
Kangna became friends with Salman’s sister Arpita and was often spotted at the actor’s house. Speculation was rife that Kangna was going to act in Salman’s home production to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Things reportedly turned sour when the project got shelved and later, Kangna did not attend his Being Human show. There were also reports that Salman was unhappy with his cameo being edited out of Kangna-starrer Tanu Weds Manu. However, the two sorted out their differences and Salman helped Kangna promote the film, asking many channel heads to do something special.

Salman and Govinda reportedly made peace at Dev Anand’s premiere of Hum Dono in colour. The two hugged and even left together. It was rumoured that Salman was going to launch Govinda’s daughter Narmmada. However, he launched Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi instead, angering Govinda, who till then was not only spotted at Salman’s house, but also took auto rickshaw rides with him at night.

Himesh Reshammiya
Salman had helped singer-music composer-actor Himesh get a foothold in the industry. However, things changed and Salman stopped promoting Himesh and Himesh, in turn, stopped crediting him for his success. Earlier this month, Himesh requested for a meeting with Salman at his house and the two patched up. He also requested Salman to consider some songs from his label for his films.

John Abraham
Salman was visiting his friends Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt on the sets of Desi Boyz, that also stars John Abraham. According to eyewitnesses, when Salman spotted John, he walked up to him and hugged him, ending their five-year cold war. When asked about it, Salman was quoted as saying that “it is not a friendship but a professional relationship.”

Vivek Oberoi
In a much talked about interview, last month, Salman Khan said that he had forgiven Vivek Oberoi, seven years after the latter held a press conference against Khan. Salman said, “I forgave Vivek because you know whether someone is serious or not in his apologies, and whether someone is serious or not in wanting to apologize, and whether he seriously felt bad for his actions.”

Deepika Padukone-Katrina Kaif
Deepika and Katrina who have passed many snide remarks about each other recently, finally buried the hatchet at Karan Johar’s party this month. Deepika took the initiative and told Katrina, “Let bygones be bygones. I hold nothing against you” to which Katrina said, “the load is off my chest. I am glad we spoke.” The two supposedly fell out because Ranbir cheated on Deepika with Katrina.

Kareena Kapoor- Shahid Kapoor
Since their break up five years ago, Kareena and Shahid have avoided each other at all public events. However, at a recent awards function, Kareena stepped into a conversation between Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor, said hello to both and spoke to them.

Aishwarya Rai-Aamir Khan
Aishwarya and Aamir buried the hatchet at Akshay Kumar and Twinke Khanna’s wedding anniversary bash last month. Problems started between the two when Ash left Aamir’s project Mangal Pandey in 2004 and the two never worked together again. At Akshay’s house, the two bonded and had a long chat.

Farah Khan- Shah Rukh Khan
Farah and SRK sorted out their differences in Shah Rukh’s vanity van at an awards function last year. Farah showed SRK pictures of her children as well. Tension started brewing between the two when SRK delayed Farah’s husband Shirish Kunder’s film Happy New Year and reached a peak when Farah signed Akshay for Tees Maar Khan, overlooking SRK.

Sajid Khan-Ashutosh Gowariker
Sajid and Ashutosh had fallen out after a war of words ensued between the two at an awards function in 2009. However, the two made up late last year at an event, where they talked and settled their differences.
