Noted British film critic David Thomson has described some very popular Hollywood stars in a rather different but interesting way in his just released
The New Biographical Dictionary of Film
"Tom Cruise is the worst of the spoiled brats of Hollywood,"
quoted him as writing.
Thomson, who has been a fixture in film critique for 35 years, calls Hilary Swank's work "dull" and "ordinary.""She has no dramatic sense," Thomson wrote about Demi Moore.
He tackles Matt Damon for his "lack of good looks" and his "squashed and rebuilt face."
Also Matt's best buddy Ben Affleck couldn’t escape the new list. Thomson calls him "boring, complacent and criminally lucky to have got away with everything so far."
However, Thomson has a different opinion for one of Hollywood's golden girls- Jennifer Aniston. "While one can make gentle fun of Jennifer Aniston, it's hard to dislike her," he wrote.
