Send all winter clothing and home linen items to the trunk and bring out the beautiful vases for flowers and bright colourful summer dresses to grace your wardrobe. And the various exhibitions in the capital help you do just that.

“With the onset of summers, women want a new wardrobe and revise their home décor. I try to save their time and get them exclusivity,” says Timsy Anand, organiser, Jalsa, a popular bi-annual lifestyle exhibition with over 150 stalls spanning home décor, apparel and jewellery.

The popularity of lifestyle exhibitions has grown immensely. “We are debuting with clothing, jewellery and travel destination stalls,” says Ratika Seth of Luxury Indulgence and Fashion Exhibition to be held on April 3 and 4 at Hyatt Regency.

These exhibitions provide an affordable alternative to the exorbitantly priced designer stuff. “I wait for exhibitions to get everything under one roof,” says homemaker Suchitra Shankar.

At Jalsa, being held today and tomorrow at Ashoka Hotel, women can purchase designer stuff that’s priced at 33 to 40 per cent below the market price. “For the first time, 18 of Delhi’s prominent women are endorsing the exhibition as the profits will go to the Nanhi Kali Foundation and the Sai Baba Trust,” says Anand.

“People who do not have any outlets show at our exhibition. So, it is a platform that benefits both the buyer and the seller,” adds Neelum Gulati, organiser of the exhibition Live In Splendour.
