Reality TV star and actress Jade Goody was again admitted in hospital as there were fears that she might suffer yet another collapse. The 27-year-old who is battling cervical cancer was taken to London's Royal Marsden Hospital last night when she experienced "excruciating pain" after her latest bout of chemotherapy.
Goody who was discharged from hospital on 24 January was violently ill when she returned to her home in Upshire, Essex, on Friday, January 30. "Jade has gone through an awful few days and has been very ill. She collapsed at the end of the week and had to go back into hospital. She is a fighter, but the treatment has just taken everything out of her and she has been in excruciating pain," a friend of the actress told the Sun.
The mother of two sons- 5-year-old Bobby and four-year-old Freddie - was very happy after the release of her 21-year-old boyfriend Jack Tweed last week who was had been jailed for assault. Goody's doctor gave her 40 per cent chance of survival. The actress lost all her hair through chemotherapy and had to undergo a hysterectomy after learning the cancer had spread to her womb. Jade's spokesman Max Clifford said,"Jade has been in a lot of pain and she is going through hell. It is a battle for life, but her condition has not worsened and treatment is ongoing."
