Jordan turned down by makers of 'Sex and the City'
British glamour model Katie Price has been turned down by the makers of Sex and the City for being too old. The model, better known as 'Jordan', had auditioned for the role of a 'naturally sexy' nanny in the sequel to the 2008 superhit, but did not make it even to the final 20 in the shortlist, as per a report.
British glamour model Katie Price has been turned down by the makers of Sex and the City for being too old.
The glamour girl, 31 , was competing with 70 other girls for the role but did not get through as the talent scouts were looking for someone "fresh faced".
"Jordan was never going to be able to play that part. She's deluded. All the botox in the world won't shave a decade off her. Bosses wanted someone fresh-faced, natural and young. Jordan is none of those things," a source told the newspaper.
The reality TV star, who is currently undergoing a messy divorce with husband Peter Andre, was not deemed suitable to play a nanny despite the fact that she is a mother of three.
"The character has to be good with children. Jordan might be a good mum, but she doesn't come across as a warm, fun figure who goes cart-wheeling with someone else's kids," the source said.
