Kalki Koechlin has apologised publicly on the micro-blogging site Twitter for accusing designer duo Ridhhi Sidhhi for calling her "mentally disturbed". The actress seems to have had some misunderstanding for which she reacted suddenly by tweeting ,"@kalkikanmani: After a 4hour wait in lehenga, jewellery make up they have the gall to call me mentally disturbed! Riddhi siddhi, dp designers shame on you!"

This tweet, which was posted on August 29, was picked by PTI. The story read, "Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin is miffed with fashion designer duo Riddhi and Siddhi Mapxencar after they allegedly called her "mentally disturbed". According to reports, 29-year-old Kalki, who was the showstopper for the designers at the Glamour Style Week 2013, forgot to walk the ramp with the duo. This move of hers angered the designers."

However, Kalki's knowledge of the incident seems to have altered with time. This morning she tweeted, "@kalkikanmani: dear riddhi siddhi,"She has also demanded an apology for the confusion from whoever the perpetrator might me. "@kalkikanmani: unforutnately no body has come forward to PERSONALLY apologise to me for insulting me with lies," writes Kalki.

The duo was quite miffed with Kalki for dragging them into this without checking the facts, according to PTI. They had previously demanded a public apology. "We need an official apology on Twitter and other media about the same as she has been responsible for defaming us for no reason."

"We do not need such kind of publicity by putting someone else down. The least Kalki could have done was to ask her agent to call us before putting the matter on twitter," Riddhi commented.
