Actor Kamaal Rashid Khan has been booked for allegedly making casteist and defamatory remarks against the lead actor of Raanjhanaa (Dhanush) in his review of the movie posted on YouTube, police have said.

According to the police, a case under Section 66 A of the IT Act and others was registered against Khan at the Seema Puri Police Station of North-East Delhi on Monday.

Police indicated that Khan could be arrested in this case. The complaint has been file by Dr Bheemrao Ambedkar Vichaar Manch which said that the Khan made casteist remarks against an actor in his review of the recently-released Raanjhanaa movie posted on the popular video sharing web site.

The Commissioner later directed the cops to take necessary action in the case following which Station House Officer (SHO) Seema Puri is investigating the case.
