Karan Johar goes the extra mile for Priyanka

A day before his birthday, Karan Johar went all out to extend the olive branch to his Agneepath star Priyanka Chopra. And on the night of his big bash on Friday, he went the extra mile to make PC feel special.
A couple of days before the party, the instructions given to photographers read: “The media will be (allowed) there (the red carpet) from 9pm till 12.30am. Please ensure they leave the premises at 12.30am.”
However, photographers were seen clicking away beyond the stipulated deadline, but only till Priyanka Chopra turned up (around 12.45am).
“We were asked to leave immediately after her appearance, even though many celebrities were still awaited,” says one of the photographers.
KJo was among the first on the red carpet accompanied by his mother Hiroo. Later, Shah Rukh Khan walked in with wife Gauri. The couple hasn’t been photographed together in a long time.
“Everything looked fine between SRK and Gauri. They were together all night, bonding with Karan and Manish (Malhotra),” says a guest at the party.
Other attendees were Aamir Khan-Kiran Rao, Hrithik-Sussanne Roshan, Sanjay-Maanyata Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’Souza and Boman Irani.
Vidya Balan made a discreet entry with beau Siddharth Roy Kapoor (this is the first time they’ve been spotted together).
Kareena Kapoor came without Saif Ali Khan. Kajol also dropped in without husband Ajay Devgn.
Preity Zinta came in with Hrithik and Sussanne while her former boyfriend Ness Wadia came in alone.
Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji turned up at 1.30am since their flight from Udaipur was delayed by three hours.
