Kareena Kapoor’s size zero is now a thing of past. Recently, Bebo has been spotted flashing cellulite on her thighs. On Friday, the orange peel effect on the actress’ thighs was for all to see, as she sat cross-legged in a short skirt at a magazine launch in Mumbai. This comes two months after she made the same blunder twice in a week — at the launch of the book based on the screenplay of
, on June 7, and at a magazine launch in Sri Lanka.
The cellulite on Kareena’s thighs, according to wellness consultant Sumaya Dalmia, is a sign of a laxed exercise routine. Jyoti Arora, team leader — nutrition and dietics, Artemis Health Institute, says, “Kareena had gone for an extensive workout and crash dieting. Now, when she is putting on weight and not toning her body enough, the cellulite is well visible.” Dr Ritika Samaddar, HOD, dietics, Max Hospital, says, “A lot of people complain of cellulite after losing weight. We recommend exercise and yoga to combat this problem.”
While fitness consultants have always discouraged the size zero craze, Kareena’s fan are disappointed at her callous show of cellulite. A fan wrote on fashion blog
, “Check out the cheese on her thighs. She shud have sat with her legs closed (sic)”. Another blogger wrote, “cellulite should not be on a women who claims to do yoga.”
