Kelly Rowland bans sex and booze for X Factor finalists
Not only do they have to work doubly hard as finalists on hit US reality show X Factor, now they're not allowed to party, smoke, drink or have sex...entertainment Updated: Sep 13, 2011 19:16 IST
Judge Kelly Rowland has slapped a sex and booze ban on her final eight X Factor singers to help them remain focussed on winning the show.
The former Destiny's Child star will not even let the girls go to parties — in case they lose their voices shouting to pals over loud music.
“There will be absolutely no alcohol, no smoking, no talking loud in clubs. I want them to take care of their bodies,” the Sun quoted Kelly as saying.
She has also warned her girls about forming relationships in the X Factor house.
“I will be like, 'Don't let anything knock you off your focus, or you will lose everything'.”
Kelly admits she never went out alone until she was 22 and she wants her girls who are aged 16 to 25 to follow her example.
“I didn't party until two years ago,” she added.
Kelly revealed show boss Simon Cowell has given her and fellow judges Tulisa Contostavlos, Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow carte blanche to make this year's X Factor the best yet.
She also revealed any divas will get the boot and said: “I am a softie but I'm tough too.”
