Oi oi… what is this I’m hearing now? Mottu is telling me that the screenplay of Khatta Meetha will be part of the core collection at The Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Apparently, Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan, who are also co-producers of the movie, recently received a request for a copy of their film’s screenplay for the library’s collection.
Mots tells me that these scripts are made accessible for research purposes by students, filmmakers, writers and actors. So Akki and Priyan are thrilled that yet another of their screenplays has been added to the library’s collection, where even the script of their earlier film, Phir Hera Pheri, is available.
Of course, I’m sure many aspiring filmmakers and writers want to know how not to make a movie. Hai na? After all such is life dearies.
