Kim Kardashian’s best friend and reality TV star Jonathan Cheban, is considering filing a 5 million dollar lawsuit against her soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries because he called him gay according to reports.

Cheban, who had also starred in his own E! series The Spin Crowd, has consulted an attorney about launching a libel or defamation suit against the ex-New Jersey Nets basketball star.

“Jonathan was offended,” RadarOnline.comquoted a friend close to Cheban as saying.

“He is not gay and Kris’ comments were derogatory, a slur against his character and given it’s being broadcast on a program that airs internationally, it has the potential to cause serious damage to Jonathan’s reputation,” the friend said.

It is believed that Humphries used Kourtney & Kim Take New York to accuse Cheban of being homosexual because he never hooked up with the reality star during their long-time friendship.

“There is a huge fight in the episode, between Jonathan and Kris. Kris repeats the slur, over and over again, so much so that Jonathan stops talking to Kris at one point, during the series,” a production source said.

“Kris uses some seriously ugly and homophobic language,” the source said.

“The bottom line is Jonathan is not gay. This just goes to show how ignorant and immature Kris was during his marriage to Kim.,” the friend added.
