Actress Kirsten Dunst reportedly turned up uninvited to a party in New York to participate in an audition for a movie role.
The 27-year-old gate crashed a lunchtime event at The Plaza Hotel's Oak Room to be tested for a role in Oscar-winning director Jane Campion's forthcoming movie Runaway based on a series of short stories by Alice Munro.
She was trying hard to impress the filmmaker, reports digitalspy.co.uk.
"Kirsten is tap-dancing like crazy to get a job," an onlooker told New York Daily News.
Dunst's spokesperson has yet to respond to the claims.
The Spider-Man actress had recently sparked health fears after going back to her drinking habits.
