She’s gyrated in music videos, cried on national television and is now ready to infuse glamour into the Indian Premier League (IPL). Item girl Sherlyn Chopra, who’s been off the radar since her stint on television show Bigg Boss, has been signed on as a cheerleader for actor Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.

The diva confesses she will cheer the team and dance in ‘super sexy outfits.” Ask her if her presence will help bring much-needed luck for SRK’s team, and she replies, “I doubt if I can call myself the lady luck for the team, but I’ll be cheering for KKR and boosting the spirits of the players on the field.”

KKR’s spokesperson confirms Sherlyn’s involvement, saying, “It is part of a marketing tie up with an innerwear brand that is bringing out clothing merchandise for KKR fans.”

SRK has also invited Sherlyn as a guest to sit in the VVIP box during the matches. “I’ll be traveling to Kolkata early next month with his entourage,” she says.

Although she’s not going in for any special preparation to polish her dance moves, Sherlyn says, “I’ll celebrate every accomplishment of KKR in full spirit. I hope they prove themselves as the real baadshahs of the game.”
