The non-stop sports-meet-showbiz marathon has the social scene abuzz. “One stylish tournament after the other — it’s been a whirl,” tweeted Nishkant Ahuja. “Woohoo... no post cricket blues coz the starry action won’t stop,” wrote drummer Sheena Vohra on her Facebook wall. “Now, to see Sallu bat,” said CricKeeda on Twitter.
The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), to be held from June 4-12, will see stars from Bollywood, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu cinema. The teams: Chennai Rhinos, Telugu Warriors, Karnataka Bulldozers and Mumbai Heroes, led by Suniel Shetty and owned by Salman Khan.
