Here’s more trouble for Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan — she has been accused by two designers of copying their designs.
The 23-year-old actress’s leggings line, 6126 and her grey geometric dress have come into the line of fire as two designers have claimed that she has imitated their respective creations, reported Mirror online.
James Lillis, designer of Black Milk Clothing, has taken to his blog to point out similarities between Lindsay’s ‘Diamond’ leggings and his own ‘Sheer Spartan’ leggings — both of which boast a signature triangle cutout at mid-thigh.
The Mean Girls star has designed a geometric dress which Fashionista.Com has declared as the copy of a Jen Kao outfit the she wore only last month. “While we are all well aware that being ‘mimicked’ or ‘copied’ has always existed in this industry, I think the evolution of it all has grown to an alarming level. It’s a shame to take advantage of designers who are still trying to develop a name,” said Kao.
