Elizabeth Hurley, who manages to look young despite being in her late 40s, has acknowledged Shane Warne plays a major part in keeping her in good shape.
The 46-year-old actress stays slim with a regular exercise plan, but admits it can sometimes be hard to stick to her own regime.
“Shane is very disciplined when he has to be but, bizarrely, I eat at least three times more than him because I’m far greedier and think about food all day long,” The Daily Mail quoted her as saying."He’s naturally very athletic because he’s been a professional sportsman for over 20 years. He keeps threatening to make me run with him, but I’ve resisted so far!" she said.
“I put myself under pressure to remain slim because I still model my own bikinis but it is much more difficult to feel motivated in the gloomy winter.
“I wrap myself up and try to walk every day with my dogs and sometimes force myself to run a bit - but I hate it. I love Pilates and yoga but, again, am more likely to do them in the spring and summer,” Hurley said.
When it comes to her diet plan, Hurley says she is relatively relaxed with what she eats but always makes sure what she eats is organic.
“I almost never eat anything from a tin or a packet and the same goes for over the festive season. I’m passionate about home-cooked food and am convinced that eating a lot of packaged and processed food encourages weight gain.
“If you think about it, a homemade cake has only four ingredients; butter, eggs, sugar and flour but if you look at the ingredients list of a shop-bought cake, it can be quadruple that and most of it stuff you don’t want in your body,” she added.
