Elizabeth Hurley never leaves the house without make-up, as she does not want to look any less beautiful when she is out. The British actor is a self-confessed beauty buff and thinks more women should take pride in their appearance.
“I always wear make-up as I don’t see the point in looking less than your best. I’m in my eighteenth year of working for Estee Lauder and I’m perfect for the job because I’m a huge make-up fan,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as telling Amuse magazine.
“I can get fully made up in five minutes flat; light foundation, blush, eye pencil, eyelash curlers, mascara, a slick of lip gloss and I feel a million times better,” she said.
Hurley, who is engaged to Australian cricket star Shane Warne, talks about her beginnings with the beauty giant. “When Estee Lauder approached me out of the blue and asked me to work for them I was staggered, as I’d never modelled before in my life. They taught me to make an effort with my appearance and now, 18 years on, it’s become a habit. I don’t look glamorous every day as I work and have my son to look after, but I watch my weight, don’t drink much alcohol, don’t go out much and try not to bite my nails,” she added.
