Queen of Pop Madonna has never been camera shy but the pop star clearly was not ready for her close-up as she left a cinema hall in New York last night.
The Vogue singer used a mesh mask to cover up her face as she made a quick exit, followed by toyboy lover Jesus Luz, 22. Dressed to keep out the chill in a black fur hat and a padded coat, the 51-year-old used a scarf as a mask to completely hide her face, reported Daily Mail online.
The cover-up was similar to a lace mask worn by popstar Lady Gaga during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards where she stepped out in a red face-mask and matching dress. But it was more than likely that Madonna's bizarre look was just an attempt to hide from the paparazzi.
It was some quality time out for the singer and her Brazilian beau, who is said to be busy on a collaboration with rap producer A-Trak and rock producer Brendan O'Brien while she is working on the follow up to her hit album Hard Candy.
