Sherlyn Chopra talks about the fitness regime and diet that help her maintain her fabulous body...
Fitness for me is: The way to live. A fit body shows that you treasure your life and you value your body. Also, a fit body looks presentable.
My fitness regime: I love to work on my abs and to do cardio. I do 30 minutes of cardio once in two days. I'm not much into yoga; I do my meditation in the form of spending some quiet time in the morning. I exercise for one hour daily. Since I have a petite body and do not have bulky muscle mass, I do not need to do much weight training.
My diet: I have lots of caffeine. I have to have a cup of coffee followed by a cup of ginger tea in the morning. I have to have chicken everyday; that is my source of protein. But I try to avoid carbs. My lunch and dinner comprise chicken along with cholesterol-free snacks. I love soups which have chicken and prawns. However, I forget dieting when I see something put very well on a plate.
My best body feature: I like my belly and back.
My first workout was: In bed (laughs); and it was fabulous.
My personal trainer: Zafar.
If I don't workout, I feel: Like a pig, which is a very bad feeling.
The Bollywood body I envy the most: I do not know about Bollywood but in Hollywood I like Scarlett Johanson's voluptuous body. I like Jeniffer's derriere.
I started exercising looking at: My reflection in the mirror.
My views on steroid use and abuse: Well, I have never taken them so I will not know. But I have heard that it takes a toll on the body. If your body is used to getting abused, go for it (laughs).
A piece of advice for aspiring fitness freaks: Hey buddies, go ahead, work out, indulge and if you do not find time to hit the gym, go to the bedroom and do it.
