After undergoing chemotherapy for Ovarian cancer in America, Bollywood actor Manisha Koirala has now turned to yoga for wellness. The actor spent six days at the spiritual leader Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ashram in Haridwar to recuperate from the after-effects of chemotherapy. The 42-year-old left Haridwar on Friday noon, claiming to be happy and relaxed.

During her stay in Haridwar, she performed yogic techniques and yajna rituals under the guidance of the spiritual guru and Ayurveda exponent Acharya Bal Krishna. Koirala later tweeted, “Wheat grass juice, pranayama, yoga, walks and meditation…few things I love..” While at the ashram, her daily routine started at 5 am followed by yoga exercises and Ayurveda lessons. She visited Har Ki Pauri and Pilot Baba ashram to offer prayers.

She spotted a bald head with elan and fans were seen following her. Before leaving Haridwar, Koirala said, “I have spent a long time here and wish to come again.” Acharya Bal Krishna told us that the actor had come for ‘Swasthya labh’ and left the city with her faith strengthened in the age-old techniques of yoga and Ayurveda.
