Highlight Story

Dr Conrad Murray, who has been convicted of causing Michael Jackson’s death, is apparently set to make a fortune from his crime.

Reports have emerged that the disgraced doctor hoped to earn up to 1million dollars from an interview for a TV documentary, the Daily Express reported.

It is said that Murray was interviewed for the film being made by British filmmakers from the last days of his trial.

Parts from the film were aired in America within hours of the doctor being found guilty of killing Jackson by injecting him with a lethal cocktail of drugs.

The documentary, Michael Jackson And The Doctor: A Fatal Friendship, will be shown in Britain on Channel 4, although a date has yet to be announced.

The producers, October Films, insist Murray has not been paid, but sources with knowledge of the production reported the doctor hopes to make 1million dollars from it.

It had emerged that a distributor for October was offering the film to television companies around the world during Murray’s six-week trial.

The package includes an interview with Murray as recently as October 30.
