Modern Family star Sofia Vergara reportedly believes that her ex-fiance Nick Loeb used her to boost his own business.
The 41-year-old actor confirmed she had called off her two-year engagement last weekend, blaming their busy schedules, but she actually ended their romance as she thought he was trying to take advantage of her fame, reported Us magazine. “It really embarrassed Sofia,” a source said.
Failed politician Loeb, 38, pushed Vergara to promote his Onion Crunch company and also begged her to get him a part in her new movie, Don’t Mess With Texas, alongside actor Reese Witherspoon.
“He’s always trying to use her success to make himself successful. I think she’s finally started to see him as the opportunist that he is,” the source added.
The brunette beauty, who has a 21-year-old son, Manolo, from her first marriage to Joe Gonzalez, announced their split on social media last weekend.
