Actor Demi Moore has signed up for a global drive against human trafficking during her trip to Nepal, which saw her visiting NGOs and rehabilitation homes.

The Indecent Proposal star is in Nepal as a part of CNN’s Freedom Project, a worldwide network which works to eliminate trafficking and sex slavery.
The 48-year-old actor, who came solo without hubby Ashton Kutcher, is here to work with Maiti Nepal, the country’s biggest anti-trafficking NGO, whose founder Anuradha Koirala was adjudged CNN’s hero of the year.

She tweeted about her experience on the social networking website, Twitter. “Excited to be visiting Anuradha and Maiti Nepal today with CNN Freedom Project! She has rescued over 12k women and girls from sex slavery (sic),” Moore tweeted.
