It was a date with history for the cast and crew of the film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra when the film's script was launched as a book by Om Books International in collaboration with Vinod Chopra Films on Monday evening.

Actors Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, producer Vidhu Vinod Copra and director Rajkumar Hirani along with Shantanu Moitra, Abhijat Joshi were present at the launch.

Chopra said, "Munnabhai has become such a lovable character that it became imperative that the script of the film is brought out in form of a book."

Ajay Mago, Publisher, Head of Publishing Division, Om Books International, said, "We were compelled to transform its script into a book because the film has managed to make a mark in the hearts of so many people."
