The eve of the 54th Grammy awards on Saturday night was rocked by the news of 48-year-old pop singer Whitney Houston’s mysterious death at a Beverly Hills hotel. Whitney, the winner of six Grammy Awards, was best known for her 1992 chartbuster, I Will Always Love You.
As late as Thursday, she had performed at a pre-Grammy event in Los Angeles. Actor-singer Jennifer Hudson will now do a tribute act at the awards ceremony in her memory.

The pubs and clubs in Delhi, too, plan to pay tribute to the pop queen by playing her hit love songs, especially on Valentine’s Day. “We’ll certainly pay tribute to Whitney by playing her popular love numbers,” said Deepali Narula, CEO, F-Bar and Lounge.
“We’ve named some special cocktails after Whitney Housten and dedicated one hour for next three days to her songs,” says Ashita Relan of Royal China.
