She is tipped to get a Oscar nod for her film Black Swan but pregnant Hollywood actor Natalie Portman is set to put her acting career on hold after her baby is born. Portman told People.com that she was excited to be able to relax for a bit, especially as her stomach begins to grow.
The 29-year-old, who won best actress at the Golden Globes for her role in the movie, has pulled out of the film adaptation of novel
“Natalie has made eight films in three years and will take a well-earned rest after her baby is born in the summer,” says a source close to the actor. “She is looking forward to taking a break from the spotlight and concentrating on her family,” added the source.
Portman stunned Hollywood last month when she announced that she was engaged to
choreographer Benjamin Millepied and was carrying his baby.
She met the 33-year-old when he choreographed her intensive ballet training for the movie.
