All of us remember the adorable Kalki Koechlin-Imran Khan pair in the cola advertisement directed by Dibakar Banerjee. The latest news is that a lesser known model, Marcella, has replaced Kalki in the ad sequel.
A source told Mumbai Mirror, “In the first one, Kalki gave Imran tit for tat. After that, it was decided that the girls selected to do the ads with Imran would be ordinary, everyday types.”Dibakar Bannerjee, who is directing the sequel as well, has decided to use RD Burman - Asha Bhosle track Aaj ki raat koi aane ko hai from Anamika. Bannerjee said, "I love the refrain Shubu shubu shubu in that song. It goes very well with the context. I guess I will use an evergreen number in all my cola ads."
In the first ad, Banerjee had used a remix version of Madan Mohan’s Tum jo mil gaye ho from the film Hanste Zakhm.
