Should cops confiscate the vehicle of drunk drivers?
Mere fine is surely not helping in curbing this problem, so confiscation of vehicle might help. Also, the time period should be at least one month so that they can actually realise their mistake.
— Ritu Manga, 22, Architect

Vehicles of such people should surely be confiscated for at least 15 days so as to teach them a good lesson. Then, hopefully, they will resist from putting their and our lives at risk.
— Sejal Mahendra, 21, Student

People don’t realise that the result of such activities can be disastrous. So without any mercy, their vehicles should be confiscated straight for six months.
— Himanshu Singh, 20, DU student

Implementation of such a law in our country doesn’t seem to be a realistic idea. But during the festival rush like Navratri, Dusshera and Independence Day, this can be done.
— Kriti Sharma, 19, DU Student

Confiscation of the cars of those caught red-handed while driving in a drunken state will be good way. But I feel it should depend on the level of the consciousness of driver.
