Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari may well be regretting his words. Just days after he said to

HT City

that the TV show

Bigg Boss

is rigged and that host Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz Khan conspired to evict him from the show, Tiwari has come under attack from Arbaaz.

Tiwari had recently stated that Arbaaz tweeted to his followers to save his competitor on the show, Ashmit Patel. He reasoned that this was because he had said Arbaaz should have compensated the original singer of

Munni Badnaam Hui

, the hit number from

Dabangg

. Meanwhile, Tiwari’s supporters burnt Salman’s effigies in Patna. Manish Kumar, president of Tiwari’s fan club, also protested against his eviction, with some supporters even claiming that the TV show has insulted the Bhojpuri community.

Reacting to the same, Arbaaz says, “Why drag Salman in this? I’m his brother, but I have my opinions. Ashmit has been my friend since a long time... can’t I tweet for my friend on a public platform? Manoj is embarrassed about losing — more so to Ashmit. If he has such a fan following, why didn’t his fans vote for him?” About Tiwari’s allegations regarding his film, Arbaaz says, “It is rubbish.”

Ashmit’s sister Ameesha Patel is also spitting fire at Tiwari for saying that the only way he could lose to Ashmit was if the show was rigged. “This is a case of sour grapes. He may be a superstar in the Bhojpuri industry, but I had never heard of him. If he feels that the show is rigged, why didn’t he air this concern in the house?”
