When it's about make up, minimal always scores. But occasionally, a bit of colour does the trick.

Metallic tones and silver are out of vogue. Now is the time to flaunt peaches and corals or simply the hottest colour of the season - red.

Lips
Keep it fresh with peach, coral, pale pink and a dash of orange. Pick up some matte shades which are hot this season.

Eyes
Subtle eye shadows in pastel shades are the best. For those with a dusky skin tone, neutral shades like brown and cream are recommended.

Pastel hues
like mint green, pale blue and yellows can for the fair-skinned. A mascara can complete the look.

Face and cheeks
Too much blush can be avoided instead, a subtle use of neutral shades on the cheeks can work wonders. The look is essentially healthy and fresh. And, good news, pink is back.

Hair
The ponytail still rules. Fringes are still high on the fashion quotient. Leave your hair loose only if it's clean and well-conditioned.
