Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has been reportedly sued for trademark infringement over her use of the catchphrase "Own Your Power".

Dailystar.co.uk reports that Simone Kelly-Brown, CEO, Own Your Power Communications, Inc. insists that she had created the acronym OYP.

Kelly-Brown also claims to have registered to obtain exclusive ownership of the motivational slogan at the US Patent and Trademark Office in New Jersey, Thursday.

A spokesperson for Winfrey's Harpo Productions said: "Harpo has not been served and we have no information about what allegations are being made."
