Martin said he always enjoyed running in the outdoors and if he was a teenager now, he'd love to take part in the fictitious game, in which people kill others to win a competition, reported Femalefirst.

"I used to collect pen knives as a kid. I was into outdoor stuff and I wanted to be Robin Hood. Now I'd want to be into The Hunger Games," he said.

The Viva La Vida musician dated Hunger Games actor Jennifer Lawrence for three months following his decision to "consciously uncouple" from his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 42, in March 2014.

And according to reports, Lawrence has rekindled her romance with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, 24, after deciding to call time on her relationship with Martin in October.
