Fifty per cent tax will be exempted for superstar Amitabh Bachchan's film Paa as it has created public awareness on the disease progeria, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said.

"Paa is a message oriented film. Big B has invited all members of the legislative council and assembly to view it," Yeddyurappa said. Yeddyurappa said he will see the film ON Thursday along with some cabinet ministers.

Amithabh arrived in Bangalore to promote his film Rann, directed by Ram Gopal Varma and meet Yeddyurappa and other ministers. Actor Sudeep, who has acted with Big B in Rann, visited him along with Kannada film producer-director S. Narayan and veteran Kannada film producer K. Manjumet.
