American reality TV star Paris Hilton commanded the DJ console at her welcome party at JW Marriott’s club Enigma on Saturday night.

The world’s most famous heiress took over the microphone, and shouted to her audience of Mumbai socialites and Bollywood faces, saying, “We’re going to play some David Guetta, followed by some Michael Jackson. We all like Michael right?”

She remained on the DJ console long after, making song requests and dancing above the crowd.

Actors Sushmita Sen, Kangna Ranaut and Gul Panag were spotted letting their hair down on the dance floor. But strangely, nobody seemed to have got the memo on how the party was pink-themed, as Paris herself turned up at the do in a shiny silver dress with a plunging neckline, and even the hostess, Queenie, was dressed in white.

Paris also apologised for turning up to the party post midnight, saying “I’m very sorry I was so late, but I’d only slept three hours, and spent the day doing personal interviews, so I was exhausted.”

Probably expecting a storm of paparazzi outside when she decided to leave the venue, the pop icon stopped in front of one of the crystal-shielded mirrors in the club, and checked her hair and make-up while her entourage waited.

But not before the blonde guest of honour, who made her signature phrase that’s hot a household term in the US, gushed about the beauty of Indian women, saying, “Everybody is so beautiful. The men are good-looking, but Indian women are exotic beauties.”
