Hollywood's latest hunk Robert Pattinson's dreams of becoming a singer and compiling his own album seems to be coming true. The actor has reportedly been approached by music mogul Simon Cowell to sign a major record deal.
The 23-year-old actor, who has lent his voice for the Twilight soundtrack, is also being approached by other companies who want Pattinson to record for them, reported Sun online.
The British heartthrob is a keen musician who plays piano and guitar and record bosses reckon his singing voice could turn out to be a big money-spinner.
But the actor, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise, had earlier said in an interview that he does not want his movie image to affect his singing career and does not want to be known as a pop star.
"Robert is reluctant to be turned into a pop star, he takes his music very seriously. He is a bit wary of signing up with Cowell who is, of course, associated with X Factor and pop," said a source.
