Highlight Story

This glam magnet has been out of work for quite sometime now. But that doesn't stop Ex-Miss Universe-turned-actress Diana Hayden from keeping busy. She is having the time of her life with beau Rajeev Singh. Catch her in a tête-à-tête with HTTabloid.

How is your love life with heartthrob Rajeev Singh going on?
Yes, I am in love with Rajeev and we are very happy with each other. We both are very cooperative and respect each other's feelings and emotions. I think that's very important for any love relation to sustain forever. I believe the less you talk about your private affairs the better it is because people take no time to break your affair or get your name associated with someone else.

You have gone into almost oblivion after your film Ab Bas. Why?
I had a very bad experience of doing this film because this film was marketed in such a manner as if it is some sort of C grade film. I felt very hurt because of that and that's why I decided I would take extra precaution before I sign any film.

Do you mean to say that you are not ready to expose in the industry?
Ab Bas was not a film in which I had only exposed. I am very proud of my role in the film but the only problem was that it was marketed as if I have exposed and done nothing more than that. It's true also that I don't like unnecessary exposure.

Do you feel that it happened with you because you are an outsider to Bollywood?
I think so. After a year of winning Miss Universe, when I came into film industry I didn't know anyone. Everyone was a stranger to me. I realized that unless you belong to some camp in the industry, you might not be able to secure your interest here.
