The only thing that sends Anil Kumble’s heart racing besides photography is obviously his love for cricket, which grew even as he was growing up in the bylanes of Anil KumbleBangalore. Recently retired from the Indian team, Kumble has a spate of achievements behind him. Not only is he one of the only two bowlers to have taken ten wickets in a Test innings, this recipient of the Padma Shri has also achieved the milestone of 600 wickets – the first Indian and third in the world to do so. He’s now the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team.
