Hard KaurBorn Taran Kaur Dhillon but better known as Hard Kaur, our only female rapper was born in India but became a star in Birmingham. Having lost her father in the riots of ’84, Kaur moved to the UK with her mother and brother. With no English language skills, she immersed herself in a different type of language – music.

In particular, hip hop. Hard Kaur had a best selling single, Glassy. She became a Bollywood babe a couple of years ago with her foot tapping number Move your body from Johnny Gaddar. More recently, she did the title track of Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, Follow me, and is now set to act with Akshay Kumar in Hello India.
