Bollywood celebrities like Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher and Priyanka Chopra urged Mumbaikars to vote in the Maharashtra civic corporation polls Thursday.



The celebrities took to Twitter to spread a word about the importance of voting. Here's what they had to say:



Shah Rukh Khan: cast my vote..it's amusing how ppl r obsessed that the voter should show his/her finger..can I just stick my tongue out instead..rude enuff?
