Actor and Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta is “disappointed” with her team’s loss to Delhi Daredevils at the Indian Premier League match in Delhi on Tuesday. Her team lost despite her lucky charm — Ranbir Kapoor — being present with her in the stands at the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground.

Ironically, Kapoor was there to support Delhi Daredevils. Preity, however, said, “Ranbir is my lucky charm. I hope it works for me.” The actor was seen bonding with the Kapoor scion throughout the match. They hugged, screamed and stuck together in their respective team colours and Kapoor said that he would like to attend more IPL matches. “I hope Preity invites me for matches,” he said.

After the match, 37-year-old Zinta tweeted about her team’s dismal performance. “I’d lie if I’d say I’m not disappointed # DD was better than #kXIP today ! Boyz needs 2 pull up their socks as Dharamshala becomes crucial! (sic)” she wrote.
