Veteran actor Rajesh Khanna has been admitted to Lilavati hospital after his health deteriorated on Saturday. The actor has not been keeping well for some time.

The Bollywood iconic actor has been rushed to Lilavati hospital after complications in his health were reported.

After reports of him not taking food for 3-4 days emerged, his son-in-law Akshay Kumar and wife Dimple Kapadia said he's absolutely fine.

Worried fans had lined up outside his house, and India's first superstar Rajesh Khanna waved to them and showed them the 'V' for victory sign from the balcony of his house. He was dressed in a crisp white kurta, a stole and dark shades.

But it looks like, everything is not absolutely fine.

In April, the actor was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati hospital after he felt uneasy and weak on previous night. He was later discharged.

The actor was recently seen for the first time in a television ad. He endorsed new Havell's fan ad campaign called Havells Fans Forever, directed by filmmaker R Balki.

The Havells fans commercial features Khanna going down the memory lane, remembering how his fans used to follow him everywhere when he was a superstar.

Khanna married Dimple Kapadia in 1973 and has two daughters from the marriage. The two separated in 1984 and thereafter lived separately, but did not complete the divorce proceedings.

Their elder daughter Twinkle Khanna, actor-turned-interior decorator, is married to Akshay Kumar and younger daughter Rinki Khanna, also a former actor, is married to London-based investment banker Samir Saran.
