After filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took digs at Junior Bachchan's Dum Maaro Dum, Big B took revenge by walking out of his film Department. The Bachchans are apparently very upset with Ramu's immature acts.

Abhishek Bachchan had earlier opted out of Department as the script didn't interest him too much. As a reaction to Abhishek's refusal, Ramu sent uncharitable messages about Dum Maaro Dum. "It all started last month when Abhishek told Ramu that he wasn't too keen on working in the film. The director couldn't take a 'No' gracefully. He started sending out uncharitable remarks on Dum Maro Dum from his cellphone," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

ABAfter RGV's personal attack on his son, Amitabh Bachchan decided to walk out of the film. "Amitabh is not interested in working with a filmmaker who has meted out such shoddy treatment to his son," added the source.

In his defence, Ramu reportedly stated that he himself has replaced Abhishek with Rana Dagubatti. "I have replaced Abhishek with Rana and the cast that has been finalised- Sanjay Dutt, Kangna Ranaut and Rana," he messaged the tabloid.

What about Big B not doing the film? "I haven't narrated the story or the role to him yet since the script is still underway. Only if the role requires him, I shall approach him," he explained.

Sanjay Dutt Productions' CEO Dharam Oberoi confirmed the reports of Sanjay starring in Department.
