Ranbir Kapoor managed to injure his forehead during the shoot of Anurag Basu's Barfee. The gash was so deep that Ranbir had to get four to five stitches and the mark is permanent.
Buzz is that Ranbir was shooting a scene at a small lake when the accident happened.
"Ranbir's concentration was far intense while shooting for this scene. As he got out of the water he hit his head on a rod that was just above him. The cut was deep and blood gushed out. He was rushed to the doctor and was even required to get four to five stitches," a source told Mumbai Mirror.
The shoot had to be cancelled on Tuesday and doctors have advised Ranbir to rest.
Even after the accident, Ranbir wanted to continue shooting but director Anurag Basu stopped the shooting.
"It was too deep a cut to be left like that. His safety and well-being is important and we forced him to go to the doctor," Basu told the tabloid.
