In a desperate attempt to impress director Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan decided to kiss on the director's show Koffee With Karan. But that's not it, they did it twice!

There has been a lot of speculation about the two actors being rivals and not getting along at all. However, this time the actors decided to end the speculation about the war between the two.

The actors actually locked lips twice in a desperate attempt to be cast in the sequels to Johar's film Dostana. The kiss was apparently a hit as to how 'far' they could go, even in the film. Well, are we desperate or what.

The film originally had Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham playing two men pretending to be gay. But it seems now, with the sequel Dostana 2 in the making, the fun has been pushed even further.

Imran Khan and Ranbir KapoorThe kiss was apparently a hint as to how 'far' they could go, even in the film. Well, are we desperate or what. They demanded that Karan Johar keep his promise of casting them in his film. They reminded him that they got an underwear each as a signing token from Karan, reported Mid-Day. Now, why would they think that this 'liplock' should make Karan Johar cast them in the film? Hmm, we wonder.

Apparently, before the shoot, Ranbir even matched dates according to Imran since the latter was in the middle of a shoot and the duo seemed to be rather comfortable with each and were having light conversations before the shoot. At least, this should keep the media from commenting on the cold war on between the actors!

Interestingly, the third season of Koffee With Karan that had tame beginning with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan seems to be getting a little more spicy. Last week's guests were Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who're also known for not getting along, but on the show they got along like a house on wild fire.

So it seems like either the actors are really getting along well and the hype is about nothing; or well, they are actors.
